DJA MIXED-USE

In Collaboration with WSA and AREX.

The project was an existing skeleton with a different program.

Following the new brief and keeping on the existing structure

we develop a new mix of components, as follows:

1- Retail Podium
2- Gardens above podium level.
3- Automated Parking Structure [added]
4- Furnished Apartments
5- Office Building
6- Hotel

The wrapped around chamfered double skin, was designed to tie together

all the components, creating a strong statement and a unique character.

Due to the existing conditions of the site, the main focus was on the skin design.
We have developed a flexible module that has a monolithic character, but with various depth and opacities.
From louvers for the parking skin, to deep skin for the residential to allocate for balconies, to the fritted single skin for the offices.
